ABOUT KYLIE KILMER

Kylie Kilmer is the Democratic candidate for Kansas House of Representatives District 70, including Dickinson County and parts of Marion and McPherson County. Kylie is a Dickinson County native, born and raised in Herington. She is a teacher for students who are blind and low-vision, serving kids with visual impairments throughout Kansas. She is married to Austin, a Navy veteran who now works in law enforcement technology full-time, while also serving as a part-time law enforcement officer locally.  Her campaign priority is to bring the voice of rural, working Kansans to Topeka. She currently lives in rural Abilene with her husband, three children, and backyard chickens. In her free time, she likes to spend as much time as she can putzing around outside trying to learn new skills like beekeeping, gardening, and other outdoor recreation adventures.
