My name is Kylie Kilmer, and I am running for Kansas House District 70. A little bit about my background: I have a Bachelor’s in Recreation Therapy from Pittsburg State University and a Master’s in Special Education - Visual Disabilities from Northern Illinois University. I interned in New York for the Helen Keller National Center for Deaf-Blind Adults and have worked in the school system serving students with vision loss for nearly a decade. Wife of a veteran/law enforcement officer, and mother to two in daycare -- I have a boots on the ground perspective of the real issues rural families are facing. I plan to be a voice for all rural Kansans, no matter their party affiliation.
